Some people call me a professional hype-woman but you can call me your therapist.

Hello! I see adolescents 12 and up, young adults (18-26), and adults through middle age. I most commonly see individuals experiencing symptoms related to ADHD, ASD level 1, AuDHD, developmental and relational trauma, gender dysphoria, and mild-moderate anxiety and depression. I have experience supporting people facing challenges with executive dysfunction, parenting, life transitions, and relationship functioning. I am an LGBTQIA+ affirming clinician and have experience supporting adults and adolescents (and caretakers) in the LGBTQIA+ community wherever they find themselves in their personal journey.

As an ADHD therapist with ADHD, late diagnosed in adulthood, I am passionate about helping others explore potential signs of neurodivergence that could be creating undue hardships or misdiagnosed as something else. I also appreciate supporting those that received a more timely diagnosis but may not have received the support they needed at that time or currently.

I have extensive experience with social service systems, working within the child welfare system across institutional, non-profit, and state government settings and children’s community mental health system from 2002-202. During that time I interfaced heavily with adjacent systems including the court system, criminal justice system, public education system, assistance benefits system, and healthcare system. I have an intimate understanding of how oppression is baked into these systems- that are working exactly how they were designed to work- targeting Black, Brown, Indigenous people and families, gender diverse, and the disabled and medically fragile. I will always consider the impact that systems of oppression have on people, families, communities, and mental health.

I value transparency, reliable communication, and flexibility to help support accessibility. I take a flexible approach to communication, session considerations, scheduling, and cancellations to help make engaging in treatment feel easier.

My approach is heavily relational- I believe change happens in the context of the relationship. I have an active, casual conversation style that makes engaging in therapy feel less intimidating. Therapy sessions with me generally feel more like a friendly, focused conversation rather than an awkward, impersonal meeting. You’ll never have to wonder if I’m listening or if I understand because I will make it clear to you. I invite you to show up as you are and participate in ways that feel authentic. There may be some crying but there is also usually a lot of laughing. I’m skilled at seeing people and helping them see a version of themselves they may have yet to uncover. Some people call me a professional hype-woman but you can call me your therapist.
